I figure this year I'm going to give up facebook and fanfiction. BOTH will be an absolute pain to part with though, so in a way, I'll be doing things right for a change. I do really need to go to confession though. I haven't done the sacrament in... 6 or nearly 7 years. I had an opportunity to, while I was in the Vatican, to do so, but my fear go the best of me. I'll do it for sure... I just need to work up the strength or the will to do so, and then preferably in some far off church somewhere I will never attend a mass at. Not that I attend mass, which is another thing I need to work on. I haven't gone to mass in nearly 7 years. Ironic considering that I would like to, finally, get confirmed. Don't ask how a girl that got sent to a catholic pre-school, elementary and high school managed to sneak her way out of confirmation. It just happened. In either case I am working up all my energy for a complete fanfiction splurge this Fat Tuesday because I do really want to last these 40 days without any mishaps. What I plan to do: I plan to save any email received from ff.n to a specially named folder in my email I plan to notify my facebook friends, and either "delete" my account or keep it open but never log on. I'll probably do what will be hardest, because that way I'll get the emails of messages and things people send me, so I won't be entirely out of the loop. Loopholes for myself: I am allowed to write fanfiction for stories I have already started working on. I may be allowed to go on fictionpress.net depending on how good a girl I am. This is going to make me sad. Otherwise, I'm sure I'll find other ways to keep myself occupied, like doing homework for a change....

Everyone has been clamoring to know everything and anything about me and I have decided to appease my adoring masses by producing this LJ so that I could get a moments peace and quiet to myself. There, that said I can now get straight down to business and discuss the serious business of the state-of-affairs of my hair. It has been tied back in a short ponytail or bun all morning, however since I did not give it time to dry since my last shower, it seems to have decided to venture into the more wild side and random curls are sticking in every which direction. I shall have to tame it, some other day, because I don't quite feel like using the straightening iron today. There, you can look at the almost naked human forms.
